Eighty Percent Admit to Mental Health Days

A poll finds more than 80 percent of those asked admit to taking a “mental health day” even if they’re not really sick. The survey from ComPsych, a provider of employee assistance services, said almost one-third of those cited family and relationship issues as the reason for taking time off. Another 20 percent said work related stress was the reason behind their mental health day.
