Worried Workers = Productivity Drop

New research tells you what you probably already knew. Your client’s workers are worried and that worry means more stress, less productivity and potentially higher medical costs in the short and long term.

EAP juggernaut ComPsych’s new research shows 92 percent of employees are losing sleep due to financial worries. “Our increased call volume has been a reflection of the financial stressors faced by U.S. employees,” Richard A. Chaifetz, chairman and CEO of the company, says. He adds that many employers are realizing the toll such worrying takes and are proactively promoting support services – EAPs, financial and legal assistance programs.
