Workers Say Spending Less on Eating Out: Survey

U.S. workers, hoping to rein in personal spending to weather the recession, say they are most likely to spend less on food and dining out, according to a survey released on Monday.

Nine out of 10 workers plan to cut their personal spending this year, and 47 percent cited food and dining out as the first budget items to be trimmed, according to the survey by ComPsych Corp, a Chicago-based provider of employee assistance programs.
