Majority of Americans Worried About Job Stress and Workload for 2010

The majority of U.S. workers are worried about job stress and workload for 2010, according to a new poll. The Tell It Now poll by ComPsych Corp. found that about three in every four employees said they are very to somewhat worried about what 2010 will bring.

“Employers should take this opportunity to support employees, especially those who have taken on additional work,” Dr. Richard A. Chaifetz, CEO of ComPsych, said. “This can be accomplished by promoting benefits such as employee assistance and work-life programs, and helping employees develop their stress-management skills through workplace classes led by professional counselors.”
