Last month I had the wonderful opportunity to travel abroad for the Global EA Summit and a variety of other meetings with our global partners and customers across the Middle East. Throughout my time abroad, I was reminded of our extraordinary reach and impact around the world.
Allow me to walk you through some of the seemingly mundane aspects of my trip that sparked a greater understanding of ComPsych’s worldwide influence.
First, upon landing in Dubai, I booked a car to transport me to my hotel using the largest rideshare platform in the Middle East. I then checked into my room at one of the world’s most iconic hotel chains and proceeded to order a meal through the region’s leading food delivery platform – akin to DoorDash in the United States. I quickly realized that within just a few hours of setting foot in the United Arab Emirates, I had personally employed several widely used services in the region – all of which partner with ComPsych to support their employee’s mental health and well-being.
This theme would continue throughout my stay. From a trip to the ATM of the region’s largest bank, to the SIM card I used in my phone, and a visit to the impressive Burj Khalifa – I was consistently reminded of ComPsych’s reach across industries including hospitality, real estate, transportation, ecommerce, banking, telecom, and more.
Soon, it was time for me to leave. While boarding the flight on one of the world’s most respected airlines and again, a ComPsych customer, I realized nearly every touchpoint of my trip intersected with an organization that looks to ComPsych for support, resilience, and care for their employee populations.
Ultimately it wasn’t just the scale of this realization that struck me, but the steady persistence of ComPsych making a difference in the lives of people across industries, international borders, and cultural norms. The UAE is one of the most demographically diverse countries in the world. ComPsych’s ability to support varied populations across languages, cultures and backgrounds is what made me most proud.
Of course, this is not unique to the United Arab Emirates or the Middle East in general. This is the story of ComPsych in more than 200 countries spread across six continents. I was fortunate to learn a great deal on this trip, but one thing my journey to the Middle East vividly reaffirmed for me was how ComPsych’s mission to ignite human potential in workplaces around the world is truly woven into the fabric of the global workforce, helping to empower employees wherever they are.
