New AI-Powered Guide Connects Members to the Right Resource Across the Market’s Largest Work, Life, and Behavioral Health Care Platform

CHICAGO – Sept. 10, 2026 – ComPsych® Corporation, the worldwide leader in organizational behavioral health, well-being, and absence management, today announced a new AI-powered well-being navigator. The new capability delivers a consumer-friendly digital experience by letting users have a natural, conversational exchange about what they need and be intelligently guided to the right resources across the largest suite of work, life and behavioral health care resources in the market. The well-being navigator is part of a broader reimagining of ComPsych’s digital experience designed around the millions of members who come to the company online each year for support.

“With more than 40 years of experience in the mental health space, we know that when someone needs help, the faster we can connect them to the right care, the better,” said ComPsych CEO Paul Posey. “We also know that oftentimes employees don’t use their behavioral health benefits not because they don’t need them, but because finding the right kind of help can feel overwhelming. With this new AI well-being navigator, we’re making it simpler than ever for users – whether they are in distress or just curious about what’s available to them – to understand the wealth of resources offered and access the help they need faster and more efficiently.”

The well-being navigator is currently being adopted by key ComPsych customers in the United States in English and will continue to be introduced in a phased rollout across the more than 75,000 organizations ComPsych serves globally.

Clinical Expertise and Safety Built In

With responses grounded in ComPsych’s proprietary and clinically reviewed content, the AI well-being navigator points members to the most relevant information, service, or a live professional, based on their unique query. Connecting users to care quickly, efficiently, and confidentially, the AI well-being navigator helps employees better understand and utilize their behavioral health and EAP benefits. Crucially, the navigator is built to be a guide, not a clinician, as it does not offer treatment advice or diagnosis. An interdisciplinary team including clinicians and experts from ComPsych’s clinical, legal and product teams meet regularly to determine how the AI navigator functions and responds to queries to ensure safe and effective guidance to resources, services, or a live professional. This team also ensures the navigator is adhering to its training based on clinical frameworks, making adjustments as needed.

“In developing the well-being navigator, it was vital that clinical experts were part of the team building the model to ensure best practices in safety and evidence-based clinical parameters were established. The team of clinical experts are also essential in its ongoing development, building out further capabilities, refining its training, and reviewing and monitoring for quality,” explained Dr. Jennifer Birdsall, Chief Clinical Officer, ComPsych. “We believe that human expertise and judgement remain essential to effective care. Further, if a member expresses language suggesting risk, crisis, or the possibility of imminent harm, the navigator will route them to a live member of our team or recommend they reach out to a crisis resource like 988.”
